Passport Information for U.S. Travelers
Necessary Travel Documentation
As of January 1, 2007 a valid passport
is required for all AIR travel to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda, Central
and South America, and after January 1, 2008 a valid passport will be
required for ALL border crossings by air, land, and sea (cruise ship). This includes children of any age, who are no longer allowed to travel under their parent(s)' passport. More information
on the new travel requirements can be found at http://travel.state.gov/travel.
In addition, most countries require a valid current passport for entering their country, and many require that your passport's expiration date is not within 6 months following your departure from that country. For this reason we strongly encourage all travelers to obtain, and keep current, a valid passport.
More information on obtaining a passport or visa can be found at http://travel.state.gov/passport
